The Episodes:

Four years ago this month we were first approached to create a photo-story using 1/6 scale figures for Lee's Toy Review magazine. Over the next year and a half we produced eleven installments about a trio of operatives reluctantly employed by a shadowy agency known to them only as "AESOP."

Below are links to the five AESOP stories we created between June 2001 and December 2002. The first ten of the installments were published, the final installment, Déjà vu All Over Again: Part II is presented here for the first time.

For the most part these pages are exactly as they went to print. With the benefit of hindsight, some of the early visual effects, spelling errors, and the near complete absence of contractions in the early dialogue may seem pretty rough, but we nevertheless decided to give you the pages the way they ran, warts and all. Please don't e-mail us about the typos, we are already painfully aware of each of them.

Once you have viewed the episodes you may want to check out the episode "Production Notes " and "gallery" areas, which offer insight into our creative process, as well as behind the scenes pics and larger versions of some of our favorite AESOP images.

While our names are the top of each episode, AESOP would not have been possible without the assistance and support of many of our friends.
