The Lost Adventure |
|
In the spring of 2000 John Ellingwood and I set out to shoot an Adventure Team photo-story in the woods not far from where I grew up. Nothing high tech, no studio, no lights, just two friends, a digital camera and a big honkin' box of Joes. In all we made four trips back there, but, for one reason or another, the pictures never quite made it off my hard drive. In the five years since we started digital cameras have come a long way and I would like to think my story-telling skills have advanced a bit as well. Looking at the pictures today I see some good shots and many more I wish we could retake. Nevertheless, for the hours we invested, and particularly, for the time I made John stand under waterfall until one picture was just right, this project deserved to be finished.
