After some fond reflections of decades past they get down to business taking a first look at Amazon’s Prime Video’s mid-summer hit, The Boys. While they do their best to keep their comments SPOILER FREE it’s clear why this dark take on a world where superheroes have made a big, if not necessarily positive, impact is generating a lot of buzz. With decades of comics to draw from, A Watchman series coming from HBO and Jupiter’s Legacy in production ay Netflix, it looks like “capes behaving badly” is now very much a thing.
